Going Dark

Jesus told His disciples that He would be killed by wicked men in Jerusalem, that He would be buried for three days, and then rise from the dead. Jesus has been delivered into the hands of wicked men, and they delivered Him to death. According to the plan Jesus has to go into the ground. That is what we are looking at the week. The burial of The Son of God is not an inconsequential thing. Thus, all four gospel writers give an account of it. They are not long passages but there is a lot packed into them.
