Waiting at The Door

This is a sermon originally given by Dietrich Bonhoeffer in 1928 while he was working as a pastoral assistant in Barcelona, Spain. The sermon is on the traditional theme for the first Sunday of Advent. It is stunning how the words he spoke almost 100 years prior are still perfectly relevant today. Prior to the recitation of the sermon there is some background on why Dietrich Bonhoeffer is a voice that we should still be listening too and what advent is all about.
