He Knew Going In

Jesus is making His final journey towards Jerusalem and His date with the Cross of Golgotha. There are a lot of events left to see before that happens, but measured in days and hours, Jesus' hour is close. Along this journey Jesus pulls His apostles aside to tell them again exactly what they are walking into. Why does He stop to tell them this now? Following what Jesus has to tell them about His coming death comes a request from two of His apostles which stirs up a great dissent between the Apostles. But as He always does, Jesus turns a moment of great denseness and stupidity into an opportunity for teaching and growth.
