The Farewell Discourse: Overcoming The World

This week we come to the end of Jesus' "Farewell Discourse". The discussion does not end with a whimper or taper off this is the crescendo. Jesus has told the eleven so much in these final hours before they will be separated and He is murdered. There has been a lot to glean from Jesus' words. But was there an overarching purpose in all that He told them? Yes, there is and we see it in these final 9 verses. What we see here is not only for the disciples. You will see that it also applies to us today as well.
