Overestimating Yourself

There are a lot of notable people used by God in His plan of redemption. One of the most memorable is the Apostle Peter. In this week's passage he is the focal point. Peter is about to swear that he will do something that he will not be able to deliver on. Sometimes all of us write cheques with our mouth that our character can't actually make good on. So, there is a message of caution here. But the real focus, as it always should, should be is on Jesus and His response. It is absolutely breath taking and filled with hope for all of us.
