Heart of a Child

Jesus is still teaching His disciples and making His way towards Jerusalem while also dealing with the opposition. His lessons are coming in the form of direct statements and parables usually in response to questions that He is asked. The lessons learned from those interactions illustrate how we are to live in Jesus' absence and stay ready for our call to be with Him. In this week's passage Jesus adds some really important lessons. Going deeper than before He is laying out the kind of heart it takes to follow Him and be ready for our call home. What He illuminates for us here is absolutely vital.
