Stopped Up and Tongue Tied

This week we look at a healing of a Gentile man who cannot speak well because he cannot hear. The moment is touching when you see it right. But is there more here than meets the eye? There is! Nothing in the Bible works alone. All of it is linked together, especially in the life of Jesus. This event works in concert with the previous event, the healing of the Canaanite woman's demon possessed daughter, to tell us something really important about the people involved in the last major teaching Jesus gave. It is stunning to see not only how these two events work together but also the prophesy it connects to and how it also illustrates what Jesus will say in the not too distant future.
