What is Salt?

Last week we began to look into "The Sermon on The Mount". Which is the most wide-ranging teaching Jesus will ever give. It began with the "Beattitudes" which is a series of 9 blessings over which disciples of Jesus should be exceedingly happy and joyful about. We looked at 1 - 7 of the 9 "Blessed" conditions last week. This week we look at 8 & 9. These deal with persecution which does not sound like much of a blessing and certainly not something to be happy about. But it is! Find out why! We continue on to see what purpose disciples of Jesus serve in the world. We have a really glorious purpose which is more expansive than you can imagine.
