Status

Jesus is yet again invited to dine with religious leaders and again it is a Sabbath. This one feels like a set up from the get-go. Because there is a guy there who is in really great need medically. The host and his guest know this, and they are obsessively watching to see what Jesus will do with this guy. And true to form our Hero makes the man whole again. What ensues is a monologue by Jesus based on a couple of questions that He poses to the gathered guests. What Jesus points out to them speaks into the heart of one of the human races most deep seated, soul threatening desires.
