Pretty On The Outside

While hanging out in the area beyond the Jordan river, Jesus gets invited to dine with a local Pharisee. And immediately the person who invited Jesus take umbrage with something Jesus does. While we are not told that the man makes his objections known somehow Jesus knows what the pharisee is thinking. And frankly He is not having it. Jesus launches into a dissertation on how most of what the Pharisees and their friends the Scribes think is really important, is actually worthless. What our Savior tells them has a lot of application in the church today, if you have ears to hear it.
