What God Can Do with Practically Nothing

Following the sending out of the 12 on mission trips and the murder of John the Baptizer Jesus travels to a remote area near Bethsaida. There Jesus performs arguably the most well-known miracle of His earthly ministry. This is the only miracle recorded in a four gospel accounts. Feeding 10,000 people with 5 gnarly loaves of bread and 2 ruddy fish is amazing. But is there more going on here? Does this miracle have any purpose beyond feeding a hungry crowd?
