Desperate Faith

Jesus has returned to Capernaum following the liberation of the demoniacs of Gadera. Jesus is in full on action hero mode right now. Moving here and there and rescuing people from things that only God can. We see two such incidents in this week's passage. What we see in this though is Jesus's reaction to and regard for a person's faith in God and Himself as the sent One of God. What we see this week is really incredible. Jesus' encounter with a woman who has been ill for 12 long years is not to be missed. As if that wasn't enough, He moves from that encounter to raising a second person from the dead. What Jesus does this day shows us the heart of God.
