Demons Know His Name

Jesus continues to show His power and teach His new disciples what it will be like to follow Him and what they are being called to do in His name. This time Jesus displays His power and authority over the spiritual realm as He casts out a demon from a possessed man in the Synagogue at Capernaum. He then heals Peter's sick mother-in-law followed by an evening of people coming to the door with the sick and possessed to be healed. But what is really interesting here is the demon in the Synagogue. What he says implies a knowledge of Jesus that no humans had at the time. Which tells us a lot about what it really means to know Jesus and to be saved.
