Who is Pulling Your Load?

In this short passage Jesus first calls us to come to Him for rest and in perhaps the same breath He then says to take my yoke upon you. It sounds like a contradiction. is it? What kind of rest is He calling them / us too? What does it even mean to take His yoke on? How does that connect to what Jesus said just before that about hiding things from the wise but revealing them to babes? What is being hidden, what is being revealed, and why?
