It was not that long ago that Jesus was feeding 5000 people on a mountain side with a few loaves of bread and a couple fish. Now He's back at. This time He feeds 4000 people in one sitting. You'd think things would go different with the disciples this time seeing as they have been through this once before. But no! Following this massive dinner party Jesus will head over to Magdala. Seemingly just to have a confrontation with some religious leaders. But the two events combined set up an opportunity for Jesus to reveal an important truth to His disciples and to us!
