All Things are Ready, Come

Did you ever think you had something all sewn up only to find out that you weren't even in the running? That is what is happening to a group of Pharisees that Jesus is having a meal with. They think they have eternal life and a spot of God's table in their back pocket. Jesus is about to let them know that they aren't event close. And the reason why that aren't even close is totally not the reason you would expect. Sounds like fun but it is more than that because what Jesus has to say to them is something we need to hear too.
