The Essence of Faith

As the Real Time Jesus series continues, we are looking at the events that follow the Sermon On The Mount. A lot has been going on. From the crowd that Jesus addresses after sending the disciples of John The Baptizer back to him with a message one man approaches Jesus. The man is Simon, he is a Pharisee, and he invites Jesus to come and have dinner with him at his home. What follows is beyond interesting. Some woman of ill repute comes in and starts crying and washing Jesus' feet with her tears and drying them with her hair. Then she anoints His feet with scented expensive oil. The reaction from Yeshua's host to all this is contempt. What follows that reaction is a huge revelation from Jesus as to what it really means to have faith.
